Christian Education Department News! Sunday School will resume October 5th. The Sunday School Rally
& Registration will be today following morning service. Come and meet your teachers and sign up today. Prizes
will be given to the first 10 students who sign up! Have you always wanted to teach or maybe you would like to
team teach a class? Please see Superintendent Cheryl Wilson today for more information.
Auditions for the Christmas Program will begin Saturday, Oct. 4th from 12:00 – 3:00 p.m. and Tues. Oct.
7th from 7 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Please see Sis. Nikisha Kirkland to sign up for a time. Also, help is needed for
costumes, lighting, props and etc., please see Cheryl Wilson to volunteer and for more information.
Leadership meeting October 18th--- All Deacons, Elders, Mothers, and Ministers, Please prepare to be in
attendance --10:00 am.
October is Men’s month! Assessments for the Men is $1500 per man. Second installment is due, so please
see Elder Adams or Elder Korto for additional information.

Wednesday is Corporate Fast day, Prayer and Bible Study Day here at HSCF! Breakfast only and fasting all
foods until 5:00 pm. Please remember to drink your water, and BIBLE Study School of the Holy Spirit @ 6:30
pm. Subject “Presenting the Gospel”.

Johnson or Elder Linda Hunt for the call in prayer line. Dial (218) 339-7777 -and access code is 9039427#
(include the pound sign). A new time is being added for Wednesday Prayer and if you would like to start a new

Help Needed!! Volunteers to help with the Publications Ministry in preparing the bulletin with a couple of hours
to spare on Saturdays. Needed are computer skills, word processing and organizational abilities. Please see
Elder Carrie Woolridge or Minister Tonya Jenkins today.
November is Pastoral Appreciation Month and Birthday Celebration. See Elder Cohen and Mother

Go Tell It Network Board Meeting --Attention: All ordinates for 2009, your attendance for the Winter and
Spring Board Meeting is a requirement for your ordination at Convocation 2009. The dates are December 3-6,
2008; Edenton NC, so begin planning TODAY. Leadership of HSCF, we are looking for you also so you will be
aware of your responsibilities as we HOST the upcoming Holy Convocation here in Detroit.
